National Geographic’s Adventure Blog has put up a great interview with Californian surf photographer Chris Burkard, talking about his latest trip to Iceland and Norway, documenting surfers in “bitter, icy conditions”. Chris commented: “We thought spring was the coldest time of year, and we were right. It was brutal, but it also meant perfect surf.”
